Annapurna Base Camp Trek (11N)

Detail Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

Arrival in Kathmandu. Having cleared the immigration formalities, collect your luggage, clear the customs and make your way towards the exit point. As soon as you come out of the exit, identify our representative with your name placard, s/he will standing for you to welcome and assist you further.Transfer – Hotel (Check-in 1400 hours)

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (827m)

After early breakfast we drive to Pokhara (200 km – 6/7 hours)

Pokhara is one of the naturally beautiful city in Nepal. This enchanting city is blessed with several lakes and panoramic views of snowcapped mountain within the range of 32 km. The beautiful settlements, hospitable people and bunch of adventure activities have made Pokhara; the prominent city for the tourists. It is also the gateway to several trekking routes to Annapurna region.

Kathmandu – Pokhara (Check-in at hotel)

Later, we will visit, Bindabasini Temple, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwor cave, Seti Gorge and Fewa Lake.

Day 03: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m), 5 - 6 hours trek

This exciting day starts with early breakfast. We will drive to Nayapul for 1& ½ hours and start trek to Ghandruk. We need to submit our document ACAP permit and TIMS card at the check point in Birethanti, which is about 20 minutes of walking distance from Nayapul. We follow the trail along with the edge of Modi Khola. We climb up observing the beautiful villages inhabited by Gurung community. Upon arrival in Ghandruk we will take lunch and later we will visit Gurung museum. This tiny village offers mesmerizing view of Mountains such as Annapurana South, Himchuli, Fishtail (Machhapuchhre) and more.

Day 04: Trek to Chhomrong (2170m - 5/6 hours)

We will start trek to our next stop Chhomrong. This trek is easy compare to other days, we will walk through ups and downs, forests and tiny villages.

Day 05: Trek to Bamboo (2310m – 4/5 hours)

We will walk down following the stone steps until we cross the bridge over Chhomrong Khola and then trails goes uphill to Sinuwa. From here trails passes through beautiful forests to Kuldighar and we follow easy downhill walk to Bamboo.

Day 06: Trek to Deurali (3230m – 3/4 hours)

We start this beautiful day walking through the bamboo forest, which is damp and cold then we ascend steadily up to arrive at Himalaya hotel. With some ups and downs walking through the river bank and drier forest we will arrive at Deurali, the most scenic point of the day. The magical view of the valley, river, disperse vegetation and rocky cliffs with water falls gives you immense pleasure.

Day 07: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m): 5- 6 hours

We climb gently through the river bank and walk steep up to the mountain side. The walking trail from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. There you see mirror like Fishtail Mountain along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I & III and more in front of you. As you move forward vegetation disappears on our way to ABC and the trail widens as we pass in the Annapurna sanctuary. The 360-degree panorama from the base camp are impeccable.

Day 08: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 – 8 hours

We retrace our steps to Bamboo, the trail is downhill and will not very difficult. We will still cheer up the extraordinary landscape while walking through.

Day 09: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m – 5/6 hours)

We climb up to Kuldighar and then trail goes down to Chhomrong Khola. We walk up through the stone steps to Chhomorong and then trail descends to Jhinu Danda. You can enjoy hot spring with 15/20 minutes of walk from the Jhinu Danda to soothe our aching body.

Day 10: Trek to Naya Pul & then drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive

We walk downhill with splendid view of beautiful landscape, river up to Nayapul. We will end our trek at Nayapul where our vehicle awaits you to drive Pokhara.

On free time you can enjoy massage on your own.

Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu

After breakfast we drive to Kathmandu (200 Km – 6/7 hours).

Arrive at hotel in Kathmandu and check into the Hotel.

Rest of the day is leisure to pursuit your personal activities like shopping, massage or any other activities of your interest.

Day 12: Departure

We have a faith you enjoyed a wonderful vacation with ever-lasting memories for a long time to come. After having breakfast, our office representative will transfer you to Kathmandu International airport in our official vehicle for fly back home.
