Detail Itinerary
Day 1- Arrival to Kathmandu
The starting point of this adventure begins from your arrival in Kathmandu. Once your Nepal Visa gets issued, collect your luggage, clear the customs and move toward exit terminal. As soon as you come out of the exit terminal please check our office representative with your name placard. S/he will assist you to the hotel.

Day 2- Fly to Tumlingtar (460 m) & Drive to Khandbari (1,040 m)
We fly from Kathmandu to the lowlands of Tumlingtar and from there we drive till Khandbari. Our stop for the day rests at Khandbari where we prepare ourselves for the trekking journey of next day.

Day 3- Trek from Khandbari to Fururu (6/7 hrs walk)
This very day we shall walk from Khandbari to Fururu. Fururu is a beautiful Gurung village and an absolute pleasure to bring oneself into exploring the village life.

Day 4- Trek from Fururu to Num (6/7 hrs walk)
On our 4th day, we will walk over through the lush mountain forests to an attractive village. The walk will be easier and a moderate pace will do enough to reach to Num in 6 to 7 hours.

Day 5- Trek from Num to Seduwa (1,460 m; 6-7 hrs walk)
On our way from Num to Seduwa we walk down, passing through the Barun River. We will cross the river and scale upward to the other side. Upon walking further, we will go past the forests of Makalu Barun National Park. We will register our permits here and camp at the top of the village in Seduwa.

Day 6- Trek from Seduwa to Tashi Gaun (2,070 m; 4-5 hrs)
Upward to the range of hillside we trek from Seduwa along the two riversides—Ipsuwa Khola and Kasuwa Khola. On the way we see agricultural fields where paddies are grown and further, a perfect village scene of Tasi Gaun appears. The Himalayan landscape surrounding Tashi Gaun is a marvel.

Day 7- Trek from Tashi Gaun to Khongma Danda (3,500 m; 6-7 hrs)
Tashi Gaun to Khongma Danda upturns the difficulty level of our trekking. The trails are steeper in higher elevation and we should walk upward to the forests, going through water streams and then to a ridge. The steep trails get more pungent following stairs of rough stones and small lakes. Once you reach to a ridge it’s a short way to the Kongma Danda.

Day 8- Rest Day
The day is allocated for a rest in the Khongma Danda. We will take a break from our exhausting journey and prepare ourselves for the next crossing of Shipton La.

Day 9- Trek from Khongma Danda to Dobate (6-7 hrs)
We will be climbing to the higher altitude of Shipton La (pass) today. We will come across a Lake, Kalo Pokhari (3930 m) and then to the Keke La pass (4170 m). The mountain peaks of Chamlang, Peak 6 and Peak 7 can be observed on the way. After the Keke La pass we walk down to a beautiful village of Dobate.

Day 10- Trek from Dobate to Yangri Kharka (3,557m; 6-7 hrs)
Starting fom Doabate to Yangri Kharka, the trail passes a rough and steep track toward rhododendron forests leading to Barun River. At the base of valley, lies Yangri Kharka, following the uphill track. This is an easy walk till our stop point at Yangri Kharka.

Day 11- Trek from Yangri Kharka to Langmale Kharka (4,870 m; 5-6 hrs)
The trekking moves toward higher altitude as we go further to Merek. This can be evident by the beautiful landscapes of Himalayan ranges. On the way we will be experiencing a pleasant sight of Yak pastures, lush green forest and boulder fields.

Day 12-Trek from Langmale Kharka to Makalu Base Camp (4,870 m; 6-7 hrs)
We will reach to our final destination in Makalu Base Camp walking through the trails of flat iced glaciers and snow covered mountains. We walk right ahead from Shersong where Mount Makalu comes to the view. We will set our camp on the lap of this exotic mountain and relax.

Day 13- Explore Mount Makalu Base Camp
The base camp provides us with a joy of exploring the ice-cold Barun Glacier. One can see the glorying panorama of Mount Everest and Lhotse from here. We will take an entire day to freely explore the base camp and spend one more night in the same place.

Day 14- Trek from Makalu Base Camp to Yangri Kharka (6-7 hrs)
We take our way back from Makalu Base Camp to Shersong and then to Langmale Kharka. Descending further, we walk upto Yangri Kharka and mark our stop point.

Day 15- Trek from Yangri Kharka to Dobate (6-7 hrs)
Again, we walk through the rock falls and green forests to Dobate. The river banks of Barun will be accompanying us as we descent down the trail.

Day 16- Trek from Dobate to Khongma Danda (5-6 hrs)
This day, we will follow a steep trail from Dobate to Numbuk walking through the rhododendron forest. We cross the passes (Shipton La Pass) Keke La, Tutu La and Kauma La through the route. Further, we come downhill to the Khongma Danda.

Day 17- Trek from Khongma Danda to Tashi Gaun (4-5 hrs)
The downhill trek continues to the thick forests and we will stop at a traditional Sherpa village Tashi Gaun.

Day 18-Trek from Tashi Gaun to Seduwa (4-5 hrs)
From Tashi Gaun we walk back through Makalu Barun National Park and come down to the Barun River. Then, we follow through the villages and local settlements to stop at Seduwa.

Day 19- Trek from Seduwa to Num (5-6 hrs)
We leave Seduwa today and trek along the dense forests and Sherpa villages. The trail consists of uphill and downhill surfaces and we shall reach to Num.

Day 20-Trek from Num to Tumlingtar (6-7 hrs)
We will walk back from Num to Tumlingtar bidding farewell to the mountain views and country style lives. Our stoppage will be at Tumlingtar where we rest our trek.

Day 21- Fly to Kathmandu (50 mins)
We shall fly you to Kathmandu from Tumlingtar.
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Day 22- Free for Personal Activities
The day could be spend freely where you can sightsee the richness of cultural heritages and tourist destinations in Kathmandu Valley such as Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Basantapur, Thamel, etc.
Farewell dinner at Authentic Nepalese Restaurant with cultural show

Day 23- Departure to Home
Enjoy your journey to the fullest until final departure. We will transfer you to airport 3 hrs earlier your scheduled flight to the next destination.
