Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and arrangement for trek.

Arrival in Kathmandu. Having cleared the immigration formalities, collect your luggage, clear the customs and make your way towards the exit point. As soon as you come out of the exit, identify our representative with your name placard, s/he will standing for you to welcome and assist you further.You will then be transferred to the hotel (check in time 1400 hours)

Overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu (No Meals)

Day 02: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Trek to Phadking (2700m)

It will be approximately 30 – 35 minutes scenic flight to Lukla (2800m) from Kathmandu. As soon as you land to Lukla our trek guide and porters will be standby at your service. Our journey starts from Lukla airport leading to Chablung (2700) and it descends steeply to the Tharo Kosi which is also known as Kusum Kangru Khola (river). Beyond the Tharo Kosi Bridge, the trail ascends to Ghat (2590) and again steep up to Phadking. At Phadking you can climb to the gompa/stupa to see your first view of the high peaks. This is the first place where it gives you a feeling of Himalayan alien zone.

Day 03: Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3420m)

After having a wonderful time in Phadking our trail leads to the Dudh Koshi River and reaches Zamphuti. Thamserku peak is visible from here, one of the beautiful mountains in himalaya. Slowly the trail climbs to Chomoa, the site of an agricultural project, an interesting place to have a look around and gain an insight into the farming way of native people. The trail again climbs to Monjo (2840m) and enters the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park (1148sq km, established in 1976). Here you need to show your trekking permit and TIMS (trekking information permit) walking some distance uphill you will be at Jorsale (2830m) and after a long climb with views of Mt. Everest peeking over the ridge of Nuptse (7879m) the trail reaches the street of Namche Bazaar.

Day 04: Excursion to Syangboche and Khumjung village (3780m)

After having breakfast take some sightseeing around Namche Bazaar. Then you can hike to the Everest View Hotel, the ideal place to overview some of the outstanding mountains such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse etc. Make sure you have your camera to capture this moment. You can walk around the Khumjung valley, Hillery School and Khunde Hospital and then return back to Namche. In the centre of Namche you can visit the mountaineering museum and visit the Sagarmata Pollution Control Committee (SPCC). In Namche Bazaar you can spend some time interacting with the fun-loving Sherpa and Rai people. In Namche above the police check post you will see Sagarmatha National Park headquarters and if you want to look at the visitor center it is open from 8am to 4pm except Saturdays and holidays.

Day 05: Namche to Phakding (2700m)

We had a wonderful time staying at Namache Bazaar now our  trail step down steeply to Manoj and from there phakding.  After walking 4 hours from Manoj you will reach Phakding. Phakding is wonderful place to hang around and see local village life. Whistling sound from is always there to welcome you. You may get a chance to see the monks chanting and singing.

Day 6: Phakding to Lukla

It will be our last day of our trek, passing the terrace farming and windy hills. 

Tonight we will overnight in Lukha.

Day 7: Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla

Early morning we will fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla airport. Remaining day we will spend on shopping and rest as a last day in Kathmandu. Last hour to taste delicious Nepali dishes of Nepal.

Overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu (Meals: B, L)

Day 8: Airport departure.

Enjoy your leisurely time until the final departure.  We will transfer you to airport 3 hours earlier your scheduled flight to the next destination.
